Metro Animal Services (MAS) is dedicated to placing healthy, temperamentally sound animals into responsible, lifelong homes. We proudly serve the communities of Casper, Bar Nunn, and Natrona County, Wyoming, by providing comprehensive animal shelter and protection services. In addition, MAS offers shelter-only services to the town of Mills.
We strongly advocate for the spaying and neutering of pets as part of our commitment to responsible animal care.
All adoptions are conducted on a first-come, first-served basis. The first individual to arrive on-site with a pre-approved adoption application will be given priority in selecting an available animal.
Pet registration is now available at City Hall, Room 105, during regular business hours. Please remember to bring current proof of rabies vaccination when registering your pet.
Metro Animal Shelter now offers custom-engraved ID tags for your pets. For just $3, you can have a tag engraved with your pet’s name and your contact information. A variety of shapes, colors, and sizes are available to suit your preferences.
