City of Casper ROAD CLOSURES AND RESTRICTIONS

 Street From to Closure Date and time  Questions
East 26th Street  McKinley Street to Lennox Avenue East 26th Street will be restricted from McKinley Street to Lennox Avenue for storm sewer installation.  Daytime CLOSURE will occur August 11th and August 13th at McKinley Street.  Local traffic must use alternate routes to the east on 24th Street. Start Date:  08/08/17

English Avenue  Poplar Street to Glenn Road English Avenue will be restricted with possible detours at Glenn Road.  This will be a short waterline replacement and then they will be completing a small storm sewer improvement. Start Date:  08/08/17

Grizzly Excavating & Construction
South Spruce Street Collins Drive and CY Avenue In conjunction with the South Spruce Street Reconstruction project South Spruce will be closed in sections between Collins Drive and CY Avenue.   Until Further Notice Treto Construction
Landmark Drive 2nd Street to Blackmore Road Landmark Drive will have a surface reconstruction performed starting the week of 07/10/17.  Traffic will be restricted in both directions.  Business access will be allowed. Approx. Finish Date:  08/11/17

McKinley Street 2nd Street to 5th Street  This work is part of the 2017 Chip Seal Project.  During this closure concrete work will be performed.  Business access will be allowed. Approx. Finish Date:

WYDOT Construction Projects     

The following road construction projects are managed by the Wyoming Department of Transportation.

Expected Completion date
U.S. 20/26/87 (Old Glenrock Highway)/Old Yellowstone Hwy
Mill, level, and overlay between Milepost 183.72-187.89 at Hat Six intersection.  This will be a pavement mill/overlay job that will likely be done in sections - so one lane either direction through the intersection.  Project will also include new asphalt from I-25 bridge/campground area (near Rocky Mountain Power) to Hat Six Interchange.  Speed reduction with one lane traffic in either direction.  Business access allowed with times that crossovers are closed. Work is expected to begin Mid-June. Plan to be completed by the End of August.  For Further information please visit WYDOT website at the link above.
Wyoming Blvd/12th Street intersection The intersection at Wyoming Blvd and 12th Street will be reconstructed, which will include a water main replacement.    Plan to use an alternate route to get to 12th Street as there will be times of no access to 12th Street from Wyoming Blvd. as well as no left turns at the intersection. Work to begin June 5, 2017.  Substantial completion should be near the end of August 2017.  Please visit the WYDOT website at the link above.
WYO 220 Mill and overlay project between Wyoming Blvd and Robertson Road.  One lane closure, either direction.  There will be some crossover work where left turn lanes are being paved.  However, business access will remain open.  Begins April 3.  All lanes should reopen by the end of June 2017
Bridge rehab:  Wyoming Blvd Near Fort Caspar.  This work replaces expansion joints, expansion rail upgrades, concrete repairs.  Work will take place on one side of the bridge at a time with one lane open, either direction. No timeline for work yet.  See the WYDOT website at the link above for updates.
Shoshoni Bypass Work began March 20 on surfacing and bridge rehabilitation on the westbound lanes.  Traffic will be reduced to one lane westbound.  This work is similar to what was completed on the eastbound lanes last season. See WYDOT website for further updates.
