Pottery Painting Parties
Location: Desert Room
Looking for a great birthday party or gathering option? Get creative with a Pottery Painting Party at the Casper Recreation Center! Participants select a pre-fired bisque pottery item and paint their pieces as they wish. Parties include bisque pieces, painting supplies, craft instructor (for first hour of party), and use of the room for a two hour period. Paint, then party! Pottery is fired after the party and may be picked up within 7 days. Party price is $110 for up to 8 painters and $10 for each additional painter. Reservations must be made at least 7 days in advance and payment must be made at the time of making the reservation. Call 235-8403 to make your reservation.
NERF PARTIES
Location: Activity Room
Looking for something different for birthdays or other events? NERF Parties are here! CRC staff will set up targets and blinds for kids to practice their shooting skills. Guns and safety glasses are provided. Parties include a camp leader to lead games and activities for the first hour of the party, and use of the room for a two hour period. Party price is $125.00 for up to 20 children. Reservations must be made at least 7 days in advance and payment must be made at the time of making the reservation. Drop-In Sports
Join others and play the sports and games you love! Admission is a Recreation Center Pass or $5.00 Daily Use Fee.
Pickleball is played on a badminton-sized court with the net lowered to 34” at the center and is easy to learn. It can quickly grow into a fast-paced, competitive, and fun game! Summer drop-in times are Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm and Saturday from 11:00 am - 2:00 pm and Equipment available to use.
Nets are set up for drop-in volleyball each weekend: Saturdays, 3:00-6:00 pm and Sundays, 3:00-5:00 pm. Volleyballs are available for check-out from the Front Desk.
Basketball
Stop by the Recreation Center for pick-up hoops! Basketballs are available for check-out from the Front Desk. Drop-in basketball hours are Monday-Friday from 11:30 am-1:30 pm and all other times the gym is not in use.
