The City of Casper offers a variety of parks that are reservable for special events, birthday parties, and barbecues. Why reserve a park? A reservation guarantees you use of the park space for the time you need it without having to arrive hours early. If an area is not reserved it is first-come, first-serve. Playgrounds are not reservable and are open to the general public at all times.

Exceptions
- City-sponsored and Supported Events – no charge.
- School District Special Events – no charge.
- Casper College Special Events – no charge.
- Veterans' Park (for official Veterans' ceremonies) – no charge.
- Commercial Activities – $60 per day with permission of the Parks Manager. Commercial activities part of events which have followed the special events permitting process are exempt.

If you are planning on driving stakes in the ground that are 5 inches or longer, please call 811 for locates. Renters who fail to get a locate may be charged for damage caused to irrigation and park turf.
Bouncy houses and slip-n-slides require the event holder to take out insurance of at least $1,000,000 per occurrence which specifically names the activity and lists the City of Casper as additionally insured.
Community Events, Walks, Runs, Festivals and Large Private Events
Events larger than 100 people and events which close a street or pathway must complete the special event process.
