The City Manager's Office serves as the point of contact for residents who have comments or complaints concerning City services or any other functions of the City. Residents can also contact this office for any information concerning the Mayor or the City Council.
INTERIM CITY MANAGER LIZ BECHER
In April 2017, the Casper City Council chose Liz Becher to become the Interim City Manager of Casper. She oversees the day to day operations of the Casper city government, including 508 full time employees and a budget of $141 million.
Liz is also the Community Relations & Development, and the Community Development/Planning Director for the City of Casper.
Ms. Becher grew up in Casper. She received her Bachelor of Science in Business from Southern Methodist University (Dallas, TX) and an MBA, with an emphasis in marketing, from Kansas State University (Manhattan, KS); she also graduated from the Economic Development Institute (University of Oklahoma).
Prior to returning to Casper in 2001, Liz worked for 13 years for international retailer, Payless ShoeSource, in the Midwest, and was responsible for new market entry and merchandise development/distribution in Canada and Central America.
She is active in the Casper Rotary Club and is currently serving as Assistant Governor for District 5440 and will serve as chairman of the 2017 Rotary District Conference to be held in Casper in June. She also serves on the Wyoming Community Foundation – Casper Affiliate Board. Liz is delighted to live and work in Wyoming.
