Generation Casper Open House

Casper, Wyoming (April 10, 2017) – It has been nearly ten months since the City of Casper started the Generation Casper process, a comprehensive plan update. Since that time we have reviewed trends in Casper, looked for opportunities for growth, and received tremendous public input to understand what residents want for the future of Casper. We are excited to announce that we have released a draft to be reviewed by the public and have begun a public comment period, ending on May 19th. We encourage residents of Casper to review the plan and give us their feedback. Review of the draft plan can be done in one of three ways:

  1. Join us at the Open House on Thursday, April 13th at Casper City Hall from 4 – 7:30 pm, or

  2. Download the entire draft plan pdf for review at generationcasper.com, or

  3. Take the online questionnaire at generationcasper.com and give feedback on the parts of the plan that are most important to you.

Open House

Join us at Casper City Hall, 200 N David, for the Public Draft Open House on Thursday, April 13th from 4 - 7:30 pm. Residents are welcome to join any time and at their convenience. Snacks and drinks will be provided.

About the Project

Generation Casper, the year-long process to update the City’s Comprehensive Plan, will outline the community’s vision and goals, recommend strategic initiatives, program and catalyst projects, and a plan to monitor and evaluate progress towards the community’s vision.  The Comprehensive Plan is designed to be used by City leaders interested in guiding future services and programs and allocating future resources; residents curious about future neighborhoods, parks, roads, and community facilities; and business and property owners interested in land use recommendations, development policies, and city investments.

For more information, to sign up for occasional project updates, to review the draft plan, and to take the online questionnaire, visit www.generationcasper.org.
