Casper Municipal Golf Course Limited Opening

The Casper Municipal Golf Course (Casper Golf Club) will have a limited opening beginning this Monday, March 1st, 2010, with temporary green play and practice on the driving range (weather permitting). Temporary greens fees will be $5.00/person, and normal golf cart rental fees will be $16.00 for 9 Holes and $28 for 18 holes.

All golf play must be registered at the Golf Pro Shop, in the lower half of the clubhouse. No tee time reservations are taken at this time of the year. PGA Golf Professional Gary Marsh is available in the Pro Shop at 234-2405, for all of your golfing and equipment needs. Remember to pick up your new season passes at the Casper Recreation Center.

The 19^th Hole Restaurant/Lounge is scheduled to open the third week in April for all your food and beverage needs. For clubhouse rentals, or catering, call City of Casper at 237-9470, or 235-8459. Watch for future announcements on course openings and events, as the weather conditions improve and the golf season progresses.

EACH NINE, being different in design characteristics, requires a unique variety of golf shots and playing strategies. The "Park" nine features tree-lined fairways with small greens while the "Highlands" nine is more open, with tricky, undulating greens. The "Links" course, the new nine, is a links style course with elevation changes, lots of native rough, and green complexes that will challenge any golfer's short game and putting skills.

CASPER GOLF CLUB is open from April 1st through October 31st. The facility includes a full service PGA staffed golf shop, a large practice range, putting and chipping greens, and the clubhouse is home to the 19th Hole Restaurant & Lounge. Tee times are available one day in advance by calling the Pro Shop for reservations.

Golf Fees Season Passes
• Adult (19 yeas of age and older) $450 per year
• Adult Half Season (after July 1) $315
• Youth (13-18 years of age) $225 per year
• Child (12 years of age and under) $115 per year

Season Passes may be purchased at the Casper Recreation Center, located at 1801 East 4th St., Casper.

Green Fees:
• 18 Holes $25.00
• 9 Holes $16.00
• 9 Holes $10.00 for youth 18 yrs and younger (effective January 1, 2010)
• 18 Holes $15.00 for youth 18 yrs and younger (effective January 1, 2010)

Golf Cart Rentals:
• 18 Holes Gas Cart $28.00
• 9 Holes Gas Cart $16.00
• Pull Cart $2
