The Planning and Zoning Commission meets the fourth Tuesday of every month at 5:30 p.m. unless noticed otherwise. Meetings are held in the City Council Chambers of City Hall, 200 North David Street in Casper.

The Planning and Zoning Commission serves a dual function as the Board of Adjustment. They have final approval for Conditional Use Permits, Variances and Exceptions, and site plans for buildings with a total footprint of 20,000 square feet to 1 acre in size (or 10,000 square feet when adjacent to residential property).

For zone changes, plats/replats, annexations, and site plans for buildings over 1 acre in size, the Planning and Zoning Commission reviews and makes recommendations to the City Council, which has final approval authority.
