Kids Fishing Derby

The Community Recreation Foundation and the Casper Recreation Division will be hosting the 17th annual derby for kids age 14 and under accompanied by their parent.  All kids will get a goody bag.  This is a FREE event.  If possible bring your own poles and bait.  A limited number of poles will be given away at the event.  Dress for the weather.  Co-sponsers  include Wyoming Game & Fish, North Platte Walleyes Unlimited, Wyoming Flycasters, Schwans and Sportsman's Warehouse.

Itty Bitty Beach Party

This event is for kids age 5 and under.  Parents must accompany their children in the water.  We will have free swimming, games, prizes and refreshments.  This is a FREE event sponsored by the Community Recreation Foundation.

Float Night
Friday, June 29th, 5:30 - 7:30 pm
Washington Park Pool

There's nothing better at the end of a hot day than floating in the pool!  Bring your favorite pool float for use in the pool, and enjoy a refreshing root beer float.  This is a family-oriented event.

Family Pool Party

We will have games, door prizes, free refreshments and unlimited waterslide rides.  This fun-filled event is FREE.  Sponsored by the Community Recreation Foundation.

Safe Kids Swim

Safe Kids of Central Wyoming is sponsoring this FREE, informative, and fun evening.  Kids will learn water safety tips from the lifeguards and receive a goody bag from the sponsors.  After the safety tips, kids and their parents are invited to stay and swim.  Space is limited by pool capacity.

Beach Day

Ages 4 -12 come for a fun-filled morning in the sun with a variety of challenging activities, including obstacle courses, water games, swimming, contests and more.  All summer program providers are welcome to participate.

Double Dipper & Dive

Two hours of fun family swimming, two scoops of ice cream for just $2/person.

Pet Fest

Join the Casper Recreation Division and the Community Recreation Foundation in celebration of the furry, slimy or scaly loved ones in your life.  This FREE event is open to all pets and their owners and will include a costume contest and other surprises.  In addition, pet-related vendors are invited to show their wares, provide information booths, or sign up for demos throughout the event.  Pets must be under control and on a leash or kenneled accompanied by their owner at all times.

Spooky Swamp Swim

Staff will host a pre-Halloween swim with scary lifeguards, spooky swimmers and a whole lot of fun.  Children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult in the water.  Special $3.50 admission.

Fall Carnival
Saturday, October 27th, 6:00 - 8:00 pm
Casper Recreation Center

Join us for carnival games, inflatable fun, a costume parade and other spook-tacular activities!  Candy and prizes will be awarded at the games and refreshments will be available.  This FREE event is open to kids 12 and under and their parents.  Sponsored by the Community Recreation Foundation.

Drop & Shop

Santa Saturday

Play your favorite sport at the Rec with Santa!  A great time for photos.  Refreshments will be served.  FREE admission.

Swim with Santa
