RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

When working as a Concession Stand Manager – Prepares and closes stand prior to and after events.  Directs assigned food service workers in performance of their duties.  Handles stand inventory and money before and after events.  Ensures the stand is sufficiently stocked during events. Ability to perform good customer service.

When working as a Concession Cart Operator – Ability to safely and efficiently operate a concession and beverage cart on the golf course.  The ability to count, stock, and track inventory.  Knowledge of golf course traffic patterns and anticipation of golfer food and beverage needs.  The ability to make change, count, take, track money and keep receipts from patrons. Ability to perform good customer service.

When working as a Bartender – Ability to take orders, mix and serve alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages for patrons, following standard recipes.  Cleans, opens, prepares, stocks, inventories, and closes the bar areas and product storage areas.  May provide assistance to other food service workers for cleaning, equipment/furniture moving, inventory, and stocking; as requested or required.

When working as a Kitchen/Concession Cook – Ability to prepare main entrees, hot sandwiches, soups, salads, sauces, vegetables, and deli items to be served daily, at catering functions, and for concession stands.  Cleans and prepares kitchen, catering, concession areas in advance and after daily operations, events, and functions.  Determines food needs, monitors food holding, reports on food spoilage, and stores food leftovers in accordance with all health standards.

When working as a Cashier/Clerk – Ability to operate various types of cash registers and office equipment associated with food and beverage operations.  The ability to work with other food service workers, immediate supervisor, and banking institutions on resolution of financial questions and concerns.  Allocates, counts, deposits, disburses, receives, reconciles, records, and track all cash accounts, logs, receipts, and records from assigned food and beverage operations. 

Any person dispensing, delivering, handling, or serving alcoholic or malt beverages for or on behalf of their employment with the City shall be at least 21 years of age.  No one under the age of 21 years shall at any time be present or work within a dispensing room where alcoholic or malt beverages are stored or otherwise prepared for sale.

Work, communicate, and get along with the general public and other food service workers.

Receive, prepare, and serve concession, food, and kitchen orders.

Receive cash, count cash, and operate cash register.

Carry and stock concession and food service inventory, equipment, and supplies.

Clean concession stand area, kitchen area, facility areas, and restrooms.

Ability to work weekends, nights, and holidays.

MINIMUM QUALIFCATIONS

Experience: Previous food management, cafeteria, concession, fast-food, kitchen, bartending, waiter/waitress, and resort/restaurant operations experience required.

License or Certificates: Complete and maintain a current TIPS alcohol management training and certification. Complete and sign an Employee Liquor Liability Sales Compliance Agreement.

The successful candidate must pass a pre-employment drug screen test.

As a condition of employment, the successful candidate must utilize direct deposit for payroll purposes. Driving records are required for all new employees regardless of the position's driving requirements.  If the employee has not held a Wyoming driver's license for the last three years, the employee must provide at their own initiation and expense a driving record from their previous state(s) of residence.
