RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Entry level food service worker, concession stand worker, waiter/waitress, and kitchen worker for the City of Casper Leisure Services Department. Work directly with the public taking food orders, serving food orders, receiving cash payments, operate cash register, carry supplies, stocking supplies, preparing concessions, selling concessions, cleaning work areas, cleaning facilities, and cleaning rest rooms. Multifunctional and multifaceted position classification and responsibilities in food service operations.
Work, communicate, and get along with the general public and other food service workers.
Receive cash, accurately count cash, accurately give changes, and operate cash register.
Serve and wait tables, take and give food orders, and provide friendly customer service.
Carry and stock concession and food service inventory, equipment, and supplies.
Assist kitchen staff with food preparation, setting up banquets/buffets, and concession stands.
Clean concession stand area, kitchen area, facility food service areas, and restrooms.
Any person dispensing, delivering, handling, or serving alcoholic or malt beverages for or on behalf of their employment with the City shall be at least 21 years of age. No one under the age of 21 years shall at any time be present or work within a dispensing room where alcoholic or malt beverages are stored or otherwise prepared for sale.
Ability to work weekends, nights, and holidays.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Experience: Some previous cafeteria, concession, fast-food, kitchen, waiter/waitress, and cleaning experience desired.
License or Certificates: Complete and maintain a current TIPS alcohol management training and certification. Complete and sign an Employee Liquor Liability Sales Compliance Agreement.

The successful candidate must pass a pre-employment drug screen test.
As a condition of employment, the successful candidate must utilize direct deposit for payroll purposes.
Driving records are required for all new employees regardless of the position's driving requirements. If the employee has not held a Wyoming driver's license for the last three years, the employee must provide at their own initiation and expense a driving record from their previous state(s) of residence. |
