RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Clean and maintain storm water ditches litter pickup and product application.
Operate bagging system and keeping baler floor of baler building free of debris.
Pickup loose refuse around baler building, fence lines, landfill, roadways, and fields.
Empty trash receptacles and transport rubbish to balefill.
Maintain roadways to and on the solid waste facility.
Must be able to work weekends and holidays as required.
Keep all buildings clean and organized including tool room, cold storage room, cat shed, scale areas, baler building, etc.
Maintain landscaped areas consisting of bushes, trees, flowers, shrubs.
Perform a variety of housekeeping duties at the solid waste facility including power washing floors,
sweeping, window cleaning, removal of refuse, dirt, oily water from floors, troughs and sumps, painting safety rails, etc.
Operate maintenance equipment such as power washer, billygoat, and forklift, maintain hand tools and assigned equipment.
Set up and break down chairs and tables arrange furniture in rooms for meetings and events.
Clean rooms before and after events and meetings. Keep break rooms in baler building and landfill equipment building clean including cleaning cabinets, table, appliances, and electronic equipment.
Respond to requests and inquiries from the general public.
Perform daily preventative maintenance on litter pickup or other equipment used during a work day.
Utilize proper safety precautions related to all work performed and communicate safety hazards in the work place immediately to a supervisor.
Perform related duties and responsibilities as required.
Follow City safety procedures.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education: One year of increasingly responsible experience performing maintenance duties.
Training: Formal or informal education or training which ensures the ability to read and write at a level necessary for successful job performance.
License or certificates: Possession of or ability to obtain an appropriate, valid driver's license.

The successful candidate must pass a pre-employment drug screen test.
As a condition of employment, the successful candidate must utilize direct deposit for payroll purposes.
Driving records are required for all new employees regardless of the position's driving requirements. If the employee has not held a Wyoming driver's license for the last three years, the employee must provide at their own initiation and expense a driving record from their previous state(s) of residence. |
